PARTS GUIDANCE FOR DONALDS CUSTOMERS
Compare assemblies with individual components
Some repairs require a complete assembly while others need only one component. A differential, axle shaft, and axle assembly describe different items, even though they are part of the same system. Use the name from your repair shop and ask what the quoted item includes. Confirm ratios and identification details where your installer says they matter.
Be specific about the replacement
- Use the component name supplied by your mechanic.
- Distinguish a complete assembly from a single removable part.
- Record drivetrain codes and ratios when relevant.
For more detail, read our transmissions & drivetrain guide. You can also browse all used-parts categories or ask about a component that is not listed.
Will the yard know what I need from the symptoms?
Describe the issue, but have a qualified repairer confirm the diagnosis and replacement specification. Ike’s can then check availability for the component you actually need.
